The Points Hub
How The Points Hub Works
Firstly, thank you for joining — it’s amazing to have you in the group, and I’m so excited to hopefully get you on your way to flying Business & First Class with your points! Here’s exactly how everything works, so you always know where to find what you need.

Here’s how it works
Set up your profile — especially your flights
This is really important. Set up your flights in your account and make them as accurate as possible, because my system can then alert you whenever a flight that may be suitable appears. The better your profile, the more useful your alerts.
Set up my flightsHow the alerts work
Once your profile is set, you’ll get notified about three kinds of flights:
Now Boarding Flights
The rarest 1 or 2 seats that drop on random dates for tough-to-find destinations. These move fast, so they're the ones to jump on the moment you're notified.
See the Now Boarding boardGroup Flight Alerts
We sift through the entire Qantas, Velocity and Cathay Pacific award inventory and share a bunch of our favourite flights for the day — done for you, no searching required.
See today's flight alertsFlights that suit your profile
If you've set up your profile flights correctly, then whenever we share flights, any that match your profile trigger an alert telling you to check Today's Post for the details — so you never miss a seat on a route you actually want.
Set up your profile flightsTurn your alerts on (or off) right here
This one switch turns on allyour flight alerts (Now Boarding + Group Flight Alerts) so a new drop lands on your phone the second it’s posted — award seats can vanish within hours. The button shows Alerts on ✓when they’re active; tap it again any time to turn them off.
✅ To turn alerts ON
- Tap Enable alerts on the button above.
- When your phone or browser asks for permission, choose Allow.
- Done — the button flips to Alerts on ✓ and you’ll be notified the moment a flight drops.
📱 On iPhone — one extra step
Apple only allows alerts once the site is saved to your Home Screen. In Safari, tap the Share icon, then Add to Home Screen — open Escape of the Week from your home screen and tap Enable alerts there. Full iPhone guide →
🔕 To turn alerts OFF
- Come back to this page (or Flight Alerts) and tap the Alerts on ✓ button — it turns them off instantly.
- Or from your device: iPhone → Settings → Notifications → Escape of the Week → off. Android / computer → tap the padlock in the address bar → Notifications → Block.

Quick FAQs
Do I need my own points already?
Why aren't I getting many alerts?
There are three common reasons — check them in order:
- Your alerts aren’t turned on. Scroll up to “Turn your alerts on” and tap Enable alerts — it should read Alerts on ✓once they’re active.
- Your device is blocking notifications. On iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Escape of the Week → turn on Allow Notifications (iPhones also need the site added to your Home Screen first). On Android / computer: tap the padlock in your browser’s address bar → Notifications → Allow.
- The seats you want are genuinely rare.If your alerts are on and your profile is set up but it’s quiet, it usually just means we haven’t come across anything suitable yet for the routes you’re after — which is exactly why you’re here! High-value, peak-period seats take a lot longer to find than others. Stay patient — we’re searching every single day and you’ll be the first to know the moment one appears.
